Fundamentals Development Center was founded based on Dr. Keysha Martínez-Torres dream of bridging her clinical and research knowledge into practice. Particularly her desire to integrate family into her services because it helps generalize the child’s skills into everyday contexts and routines.

Fundamentals’s mission is to provide support on foundational skills based on each child's individual needs. Use naturalistic family-centered skill development approaches, where the child’s family and their professional team work together to determine the child’s needs and goals for optimal skill development.
