About FUNdamentals of Music and Movement
FUNdamentals of Music and Movement currently serves over 2000
children weekly through its arts enrichment outreach program.
FUNdamental’s client base includes Universal, Sony, Warner
Brothers, Paramount, David E. Kelly, Mattel, & COX Communication's
Child Care Centers. Under the leadership of founder Aaron Nigel
Smith, this fun, interactive and educational program is now
offered at the FUNdamentals Center, located at 11700 National
Blvd. in West Los Angeles. Aaron Nigel Smith, father of two
boys, ages 3 and 6, and his wife Diedre Smith are committed
to sharing this unique approach to Music and Movement with as
many children as possible. In 2005 the FUNdamentals debut CD
release,” Let’s Pretend won the Nappa & IParenting
Media Awards.
"Our goal is to inspire children to
express themselves through music and movement – here
and throughout the world," says Smith. He continues on
to explain that “our programs focus on giving children
memorable and enriching experiences with music and movement
beyond the scope of the standard music or dance class, while
also developing their innate talents and abilities. We offer
classes ranging in age from newborn all the way through adulthood.
Not only do our clients enjoy the immediate benefit of music
and movement enrichment, but they gain valuable skills that
will serve them well throughout their entire lives.”
We offer age appropriate enrichment activities
including, Parent & Me for infants, Music and
Movement for toddlers, as well as private & group instruction
on Piano, Guitar, Strings & Voice. Our extensive dance
program includes Ballet, Hip-Hop & African. For adults
we offer private lessons in all of the above listed classes
in addition to Yoga! All conducted in our uniquely designed space that invites
our students to explore with all their senses. |
